The author, a native of the town of Burton in Beaufort County, feels enormously privileged to live in Beaufort and experience the exquisite beauty the area offers. A graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and is the author of Growing Professionals, a book focusing on soft skills and workplace etiquette. A career counselor at a local high school, she considers Beaufort an absolute treasure; rich in beauty, culture, history and diversity.
